Two-color screen printing with oven drying
The WL-5045S oven configuration is a roll-fed screen printing machine with two independently controlled printing heads. The catalogue describes two-color printing with solvent-based inks and identifies electronic labels as an application. Its equipment list includes an infrared oven and a separate drying oven.
The maximum print area is 500 × 450 mm, with a 500 mm maximum web width and a 450 mm maximum feed length. The specified screen frame size is 600 × 700 mm. Review artwork margins and color-to-color registration requirements when selecting the job format.
Printing, inspection and temperature control
- Two printing heads that can be controlled independently.
- Vacuum material feeding described as distributing the pulling force across the material.
- A backlit inspection platform for checking printed work.
- Four independently controlled digital temperature controllers for oven heating.
- One unwinding unit, two material-feeding sections, four squeegees, four ink-return blades and one tooling box.
Develop the two-color drying process
Provide the substrate, both ink specifications and artwork so registration, adhesion and drying can be assessed together. The listed infrared oven power is 6 kW and the drying oven power is 20 kW. Confirm temperature settings, material exposure and practical output with a production trial using the intended print coverage and repeat.
Plan the complete production line
The main machine measures 4500 × 1300 × 1700 mm, with a listed net weight of 2000 kg and a 220 V main machine supply. Request a complete electrical schedule and installation layout covering both ovens, material access and operating clearance.
