Drying with a constant-tension configuration
The WL-650-HZL-KX is a constant-tension drying oven for film-processing workflows. The catalogue lists membrane switches, diffuser films, heating films and flexible circuits among its application areas. Review this configuration when controlled material tension during drying is a requirement of the production process.
The listed maximum temperature is 120°C, with four heating zones and a material storage length of 65 m. The operating temperature must be selected for the actual film. The maximum rating does not establish a suitable process setting for every material.
Listed heating and installation specifications
- Four heating zones and 65 m listed material storage length.
- 380 V supply and 23 kW listed power.
- Dimensions of 4260 × 1480 × 2460 mm.
- 2500 kg net weight and 2800 kg gross weight.
Confirm web width and tension requirements
Supply the actual web width, thickness and reel information for configuration review. Obtain written confirmation of the usable width and tension range before ordering. A trial should assess material handling and thermal response with the intended operating conditions and downstream process.
The 65 m storage figure refers to material storage, not the oven’s floor length. Agree on the internal material path, running speed and required exposure time as part of the process review.
Connect the oven to your production line
Request a complete installation drawing and electrical schedule, allowing access for threading, operation and maintenance. Provide details of the upstream and downstream equipment so material transfer can be planned.
See our drying and web-handling equipment, including the WL-500JPDJ web-guiding rewinder when reviewing separate handling equipment for your process.
Compare this oven with the other listed roles in the roll-fed film drying oven selection guide. It separates pre-shrink treatment, inline drying and constant-tension handling, including the figures that need written confirmation.
